“Palate” Curated By Zio Fulcher for Scion Installation L.A.

June 3rd, 2010

I ran across some dope art on Format mag. “Scion Installation L.A. is in the business of nurturing artistic expression and creative vision, and their latest exhibit, “Palate” curated by resident L.A. cultural guru, Zio Fulcher, is no exception. Hosted within the 4,500-square foot Installation Space in Culver City, Fulcher has gathered a group of internationally acclaimed artists and asked them to give us some food for thought.”

May 18th, 2010

Ran across this sculpture on highsnobiety.com The sculpture comes with an overall rusty look and even bolts, rivets and panels have been added to the figure. The outcome is actually pretty amazing. The 1 of 1  14″ sculpture will be sold soon for 3′500 USD at the Toy Art Gallery.

The cans can be found in galleries and private collections. In this exclusive interview, Greg Mike talks with Format about what goes into his art, and the future of art as communication.

Steven Burrill Business Plan Competition-Reflection

April 26th, 2010

For the past two months FBC has been hard at work developing a business plan that will help us serve our fellow carnies better.  This past week the carnies competed in the Burrill Business Plan Competition which is one of the toughest business plan competition in the state.  Ultimately FBC did not win but the experience taught us a few things.  The first thing we learned is that if you are passion about something don’t hesitate to sacrifice for it.  The second thing we learned from this competition is that we as a company must grind even harder to become that premiere company we want to be.  Although we did not win the battle we will find a swindle to win the war!!! lol
