For the past two months FBC has been hard at work developing a business plan that will help us serve our fellow carnies better.  This past week the carnies competed in the Burrill Business Plan Competition which is one of the toughest business plan competition in the state.  Ultimately FBC did not win but the experience taught us a few things.  The first thing we learned is that if you are passion about something don’t hesitate to sacrifice for it.  The second thing we learned from this competition is that we as a company must grind even harder to become that premiere company we want to be.  Although we did not win the battle we will find a swindle to win the war!!! lol

The Carnie Collective was developed to promote the social and intellectual welfare of students interested in creative enterprise.  We intend to unite students from various creative backgrounds such as fashion design, music, graphic design, film, and photography. We believe that the continual collaboration amongst these students on various projects will not only give them event planning experience, it will provide them with a network of creative professionals that will come in handy upon graduation.

This fall fellow carnie Brandon Sims worked hard to introduce debut Fly Boy Carnival on his campus at Central State University.  A blog will be posted of his experience planning the fashion show soon.

“A swindler cannot be Swindled” is a phrase commonly used amongst carnies at FBC. We believe in this philosophy so much we developed these new t-shirts in a Teal and Red colorway.  These American Apparel t-shirts are printed in the U.S. and are extremely limited. Grab one while they last.

What good is a carnie without his Swindler’s Hat. lol This is a rough version of a hat we’ve been working on.   This hat will protect you from getting swindled or just protect you from sun rays. Either way you’ll get second looks. Stay tuned for news on its release.
